The database covers 47 dealer codes — Iveco EDC uses its own factory format, outside the J1939 SPN/FMI standard. A few examples below; look up your own code in the search on the homepage, where you can also pick “Iveco EDC” from the brand list.
| 1.1 | Vehicle speed signal outside the upper or lower limit (wiring short circuit possible). Tachograph inoperative, cruise control unavailable. |
| 1.5 | Clutch switch (pressure sensor) — implausible signal. Cruise control and power take-off do not work. |
| 1.8 | Diagnostic warning lamp faulty: does not light up with the ignition on, or stays lit after it is switched off. Power may be reduced. Found on the older EDC (EuroTech/EuroStar). |
| 2.2 | Intake air temperature sensor — short to positive, short to ground or open circuit. |
| 2.5 | Atmospheric pressure sensor (built into the control unit) — short to positive, short to ground or open circuit. |
| 2.9 | Glow plug (post-heating) relay: no supply to the plugs — hard cold starting and smoke on start-up; or supply permanently on — the plugs fail and the battery drains. Found on the older EDC (EuroTech/EuroStar). |
| 3.8 | Glow plug indicator lamp — short to ground: the lamp is permanently lit or does not light at all. Found on the older EDC (EuroTech/EuroStar). |
| 4.2 | Turbocharger speed sensor. |
| 4.6 | Engine brake solenoid valve — short to positive, short to ground or open circuit. The engine brake does not work, or stays engaged above 1000 rpm. |
| 5.3 | Cylinder 3 injector, electrical side — short to ground or open circuit. The engine runs on five cylinders. Check the injector cable nuts are tightened to 1.5 Nm. |
| 5.6 | Cylinder 6 injector, electrical side — short to ground or open circuit. The engine runs on five cylinders. Check the injector cable nuts are tightened to 1.5 Nm. |
| 6.4 | Engine overspeed. |
| 7.4 | CAN line — data exchange with the EBS brake control unit. |
| 7.7 | Time limit exceeded during data exchange with the other control units. |
| 9.3 | Immobilizer. |
