FMI 8Immobiliser unit, no communication. Repair: Check the continuity and insulation of the wiring (SL1/16, SL1/17).
FMI 12Electronic lock (immobilizer) coding or software matching error. Repair: Run the full programming cycle to learn the electronic keys. Check that the key is recognised by the immobiliser (the immobiliser indicator lights for 3 seconds when the ignition is switched on and then goes out if the key is recognised). Check the wiring (SL1/16, SL1/17).
