Renault Trucks

FMI 3Accelerator pedal — supply or signal shorted to positive. Repair: Check the continuity and insulation of the wiring (SL2/3, SL2/4), check the supply voltage (4.5-5.25 V). Check the continuity and insulation of the wiring with respect to +24 V (SL2/4), press the pedal and check the potentiometer signal (0.25-4.6 V).
FMI 4EBS CAN fault. Repair: Run the diagnostic check of the EBS unit. Check the programming. Check the CAN bus communication (X1A/8, X1A/12, X1A/13, X1A/14). Switch the ignition off, switch it on again and repeat the test. If the fault persists, replace the control unit.
