Isuzu fault codes

The reference covers 41 codes from the factory tables of Isuzu — the full list by system is below, stop-now codes first.

Codes that mean stop now

lubrication — 1 codes

cooling — 1 codes

fuel — 13 codes

intake / boost — 3 codes

power supply — 4 codes

CAN bus — 1 codes

engine protection — 1 codes

other — 17 codes

How to read a code

A code has two halves. SPN is what is actually at fault — the sensor, component, or parameter. FMI is what is wrong with it — value out of range, open circuit, short circuit, invalid data. So “SPN 100” alone is not a diagnosis yet, but “100/1” already tells you oil pressure has dropped below normal.

If there are several codes at once

That is almost always how it goes: one fault drags five or six codes behind it. An empty AdBlue tank first throws a level error, then interrupted dosing, then a NOx excess and a torque derate. Fix the root cause and the rest clear on their own. Paste the whole list — we will show which code is the root cause.

Isuzu code examples

C0201Front left wheel speed sensor: incorrect air gap. Blink code: 2-1
C0253Rear left wheel speed sensor circuit open or shorted. Blink code: 53
C0503Rear right wheel speed sensor: tone ring fault. Blink code: 5-3
C1003Rear left modulator: exhaust solenoid circuit open. Blink code: 10-3
C1507ECU internal error. Blink code: 15-7
P0027Exhaust brake valve stuck
P0113Intake air temperature sensor circuit — signal high
P0217Excessive coolant temperature
P0336Crankshaft position sensor circuit — invalid signal
P0428Exhaust gas temperature sensor circuit #1 — signal high
P0563On-board voltage too high
P0653Analog sensor supply 2 voltage high
P1293Capacitor charge-up abnormal, flag 1
P2128Accelerator pedal position sensor No.2 — signal high
P2455Differential pressure sensor circuit — signal high

Know the code number? Type it into the search — or paste the whole list from the scanner and we will show which fault is the real one.
